![Maulbronn is most famous for it’s monastery founded in 1147, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but it was the town itself that captivated me. The well-preserved medieval town looks like something out of a story book!  It's worth a visit if you're in the Stuttgart area.

“I needed a place to stay that was affordable yet comfortable while visiting Mercedes and Porsche Museums. My room had a nice shower, comfortable bed and it was easy to work out the access code for checkin. I had a takeaway breakfast bag too, really good for the trip. “This quaint hotel in the middle of Stein, is what we all think of the charming, cozy, German Inn. The woodwork is beautiful, the food is high quality, the beer is good, and the staff is helpful (speaks English), and are vey welcoming. It is in the middle of town, just a few short steps to a bakery and a number of other shops. Right behind the hotel and up the hill a few blocks is a 650-year old church that is meticulously cared for. Overall, I loved this place and will be coming back to……
